Before and After School Care:
Welcome to Funtimez Kids Club!The exciting, new out of school care programme providing quality, affordable care for the Fruitvale Community. Based at Fruitvale School, we offer both before and after school care together with a fun filled holiday programme at the end of each school term.
Pool:
We have a fully and newly refurbished pool. It is open to the students in Term 1 and 4. We teach the students water safety and basic stroke development. The pool is currently open to the school community during the school holidays. A contract needs to be understood and signed by users of the pool over break times to ensure the pool remains well maintained long into the future.Gymnasium / Hall:
The gymnasium is a basketball court size inside. There is a tuckshop attached, toilets, seating and tables are available for use.Hireage - The hall is often hired for parties and community events or programmes. Sound, lighting and staging are not available for hire. Please ring the office for bookings: (09) 8272752
ICT Suite:
We have an ICT suite of 30 computers. It is used by the children for class programmes and online assessment, web development and web based learning. We use all the latest software ... Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, Office 2010 Professional as well as top of the range video editing software and much more!Large Playing Fields:
We are lucky to able to use Northall park during the weekdays and we have our own field on the Fruitvale Road Side of the school. These are used by clubs and the commuinity when not in use by the school.Gardens:
We have a great setting in the school with lots of mature trees, a growing orchard and large flower beds. Our active garden club and groundsman look after these to ensure their beauty for the staff and students.Future Projects:
Information Hub:We have the concept drawings and will be beginning to set up the pedagogy in 2012. The building alterations are projected to happen in 2013 / 14.
Hall upgrade:
We hope to be able to upgrade the facilities in the hall over the next few years.
Driveways, Parking and Street frontage walls.
Our driveways are in need of upgrading and we have the plans. We’re dreaming up ways we can finance these plans.
